Allsteel Steel Buildings are designed to be stronger, last longer, assemble easier, and cost less than any other do-it-yourself building kit on the market. For many of our buildings, no heavy equipment is needed, and all Allsteel Buildings are designed to be assembled using common tools.
HINGE BOOT
Our exclusive Hinge Boot allows for easy assembly. Each one is secured to the ground with a ¾” diameter by 18” long J-Bolt that is pre-sunk into concrete. All you have to do is construct each truss flat on the ground, attach the legs to the Hinge Boots, then just walk it upright. It’s that simple. With our system, you can erect the skeleton of an entire structure in hours instead of days, so you can spend less time on each project.

We've all seen it; the soft wooden posts at the base of every pole barn that has endured countless frigid winters, rainy springs, and humid summers. Aside from some surface rust, a steel structure will take a lifetime to lose structural integrity through normal wear and deterioration.
Steel is Stronger Than Wood
Do you know the Snow Load Rating of the last building you bought? There's a chance the manufacturer paid no attention to roof load when they designed their structure, potentially putting your investments at risk. We can provide snow load ratings for every, standard building kit we sell and offer Official Engineer Stamps upon request. You can rest easy knowing our buildings will stand strong and look good doing it.
Steel is More Consistent Than Wood
Wood tends to vary greatly in quality, density, and strength from one batch of lumber yard to another. Steel is manufactured to national standards without any regional variation. We have solid relationships with our steel vendors, and we insist on using only the most consistent materials we can get in our kits.
